Hey, I'm getting a lot of people asking me what Energetics is, so I'm writing this post.
You may notice that there is a tab on the site marked "What is Energetics". I'm not gonna rehash all the same stuff here that I have there, so If you are looking for more information, do check that tab out!
Instead, I thought I'd say a little about what Energetics isn't.
Energetics isn't a "happy pill". Sometimes we feel sad or angry or hurt or whatever and we're supposed to have that ability. Emotions are a great thing. They give us information about things we don't want to do again, they remind us that we are human beings, they give us strength and they protect us. Its great that when you get to the top of a ladder and you are trying to climb onto a roof, you are nervous or even afraid. That fear makes you cautious and that caution can keep you from an injury.
Thankfully, Energetics won't take away your ability to feel a full range of emotions or rid you of common sense! It will help you easily and gently release stuck or habitual emotions, so you can move on with your life. Whether you are experiencing a deep seated grief that is making your life look drab or you had a terrible trauma that you feel is holding you back from experiencing life, Energetics can help you move into a new range of emotions.
Energetics isn't always an instant fix. I wish I could tell you that the arthrytis in your knees that you are scheduled to have surgery on tomorrow will be gone by tonight. I can't say that. I can say that if you apply Energetics to your knees (and any apprehensions you have about the surgery) tonight, you have a high chance of sleeping better and healing faster than you would have without it.
Energetics is sometimes an instant fix. On the other hand, if you do Energetics on your knees tonight and the pain is completely gone and is still gone in the morning, you might want to speak to the surgeon before the surgery!
